As I mentioned before Ginza is one of the most upscale town in Japan but there are still old narrow alleys between buildings, where are authentic traditional small restaurants available including Yakitori restaurants.
2. Toricho
This restaurant is located in 8 chome Ginza which is very famous area as there are many expensive bar and club. It should be difficult to find the restaurant because it is in very narrow alley and the alley is not visible.
They serve very good Yakitori and first you must have Tsukune (chicken meat ball) and then you can order as you want or also you can ask them to serve a course ( Omakase ) . Because skewered meats are set on the counter, you can choose looking and point at them.as well.
I heard the owner and former chef has been retired because of health reason and then now his son cooks to grill as a chef. He always stands in front of charcoal banner near the counter and cook Yakitori with good doneness and the meats become soft and juicy. Because it is located in very upside area, the price is a bit expensive ( around JPY 7,000 to 12,000/person ).

3. Torihan
Also it is located in very narrow alley so it might be difficult to find it. I heard they have been established since 37 years ago and senior married couple operates the small restaurant with just around 18 seats. They serve only a course with JPY 3,500 which is reasonable in this area. Also the Yakitori tastes is very good.
